For Hidden Treasures I will dig into his music collection to discover pieces I never played in public – tailored to the occasion of the performance. Alternative, out of the mainstream (or with one foot in it – who cares?). 80ies, 90ies, 21st century. Electronic, indie, wave or rock. Hits and B-sides. Famous or totally unknown. Dancing or just listening. Setting the atmosphere for a singer-writer performing in a café or giving the audience a reason not to leave after an indie concert.
I have used this concept several times at GC Op-Weule, twice at a Jazz Jam, at an African music cafe-concert and as warming-up for a Brussels singer-songwriter.
